Hello everyone,

I hope you are all staying safe & healthy. Today I recorded my progress on the first song from Carmens MZZG meetup. I've had a great time getting this up to speed, still some bumps to work out, but a fun song to play. I've adjusted my sitting position per Carmens suggestions, and things are feeling better. Feedback is always appreciated.

Very nicely done! Very clean and everything looks great. The only suggestion I have would be to continue to work on staying relaxed, especially with your left hand. You are getting an excellent sound. Try relaxing your shoulders as you play. That's usually where unnecessary tension begins. You are definitely on the road to becoming a fine player!!

I agree! Well done! I'm still struggling with getting a nice, even tempo, but I am adding in bass notes, bit by bit.

I find Carmen's lessons have really helped.

These lessons continue to prove helpful. Carmen selects lessons for a wide range of expertise in each session, from the very basic to some for top level players, displaying patience for the individual, even the beginner. Every session adds technical tips, plus at least one more melody to the repertoire.
