On July 25, 2013, Kurt Eckroth presented an introduction to music in general and the zither in particular at the annual Carl Schurz Society Kinder Kamp in Stone Bank Wisconsin,
Holding an indoor class for 25 children on a nice summer day is quite a challenge, but Kurt held their attention for the full hour, explaining frequency and amplitude at their level, with tuning fork, contra and griff strings, and oscilloscope, using various melodies as teaching tools.
