Has anyone checked into this learning program?

Post by jbug_zither »

My husband found this program online for learning to play zither. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Hi June - recent discussion on that program:

I haven't seen Pete's results from contacting them and asking questions.

Hi June, Hi Tom!
My failing.
I did not get back to you with the responses.
JUNE.
Well spotted as I did as well...BUT ,,
Having asked the firm who the teacher was?
That there were only three recommendations?
That their " Pie charts " were all exactly the same percentages?.....
Led me to believe that there was something not quite right.
It will be interesting to find what results come forward with further intensive enquiries from other parties.( you?)
They did not answer my questions!

Hi Pete -

I thought instead of going down the same road as you by emailing the company, I sent off an email to my friend, Tomy Temerson, who lives outside of Frankfurt. He emailed me back to say that he is very familiar with this school as he has two students that have learned bad habits from the program. He has told me in the past that it is better to learn the correct way than to learn the wrong way and have to re-learn the correct way. His suggestion is to at least have lessons via Skype with a instructor.

Two sayings come to mind with this program...
1. If it is to good to be true, it usually is just that.
2. You get what you pay for ;)

Let's see if we can round up some available qualified instructors via Skype!
