Sheet Music and Tablets

Post by Dave »

Has anyone experimented with tablets for their sheet music? It certainly is appealing to have a large collection of music, easily accessible in a portable unit. For a modern touch though, the stand seems awkward. :D

I've not yet made the jump into this, but Tomy Temerson has kindly provided his preferred setup for those who are considering options. Following is his reply:
I am using an Apple Ipad, 2nd Generation

The Software name I use is musicreader (http://www.musicreader.net/) (Have bought many softwares, this is definitely the best one!)

To change the pages of my sheet music I use the foot pedal Airturn BT-105 (http://airturn.com/bt-105-for-tablets/b ... -computers)

Tommy Temerson used a tablet for his performance at the Chicago 100th Anniversary program. It seemed like he was using a foot pedal to advance the pages.
