Zithertische

For those, like me, that prefer to play zither standing up- and who can't always find a nice baby grand piano to play atop (I find them at the local community colleges & university music rooms)...
Here is a nice solution that my wife bought me for the holidays:

https://www.amazon.com/Winsome-Brighton ... ting+table

If you close the hinged top and put the instrument on it, the space between makes for nice amplification. The problem is, then it is 4" too high, so I bought a half apple box to stand on/to compensate. Or, you can unscrew the hinged cover and that makes it 3" shorter, which is doable (or you could always cut the legs 4 inches). It seems pretty stable even for those who like lots of vibrato. And it beats the $700 ones I see on ebay.de.

similar in height and dimensions to the home-made fish cleaning table we use at Carl Schurz Park....no back aches.
