I have a beautiful Schwarzer Perfekta harfenzither with amazingly deep resonant sound. Do you have any information on when this was made? The model # I believe is:10723.
I also own an Ernst Rudolph Glier concert zither made in Markneukirchen that I've had for 30 years. Can you give me any details on that instrument as well?
Thanks.

Re: Schwarzer Perfekta harfenzither
Anne Prinz has written to me about the Perfekta: according to the model no.: " It was built in 1927 (only 46 instruments made that year) and originally sold to Edward Kugler. The company record refers to it as a “concert grand perfecta”.
I can't seem to find a model number on the Ernst Rudolph Glier model (It's not etched on the fretboard on on the inside label. Any ideas?

Your Schwarzer is a beauty.
Regarding your Glier concert zither, an early Ernst Glier catalog (courtesy of John Roeder) is hosted on the Zither US web site. An illustration of your instrument appears to be shown at the bottom-right of page 8. The catalog also includes prices and other accessories. Here's the direct link to download the digitized copy.

Re: Schwarzer Perfekta harfenzither
I started going through that Glier catalogue again www.zither.us/files/glier_catalog.pdf and saw that they made a folding zither too (klappzither)...with travel case! Did any other companies make them at that time/ has anyone seen them for sale other than the ones that Hartwig makes today?
