Re: Christmas Music

I'm glad they're being circulated Rudi, makes me happy to know that this music won't be lost.

Here are “Menschen, die ihr war't verloren”, “Morgen, Kinder, wird's was geben!” And “O du fröhliche, o du selige”.

Re: Practice Video - Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht

Andy, thank you very much for the video. Your right hand looks so much better, and going by what I see (and hear) you seem to be making excellent progress. I would however recommend, if I may, to play the piece a bit slower. The annotation on the score I use (contained in "Im Heimgarten",...

Re: Christmas Music

Here are “Ihr Hirten, erwacht!”, “Ihr Kinderlein, kommet!” and “Christkindchens Ankunft”

Tom - I’m honestly not sure the composer. The book was titled "Zitherspielers Weihnachtsfeier” Band 717. Bearbeitet von H. Driez and looks like it was published by P.J. Tonger, Köln a/Rh.

Practice Video - Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht

Hey all,

Been a while, but the practicing has not stopped. I’ve been focusing a lot on correcting my curling little finger, its been a lot of work but I’ve got some better control over it now. Here is “Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht”.

Re: Christmas Music

Here are “Christnacht”, “Heiligste Nacht”, and “Einladung”. The accompaniment measure 17 of “Einladung” looks like it needs a third hand to play, but that’s how it appears in the book.

Re: Christmas Music

Tom, That is very kind of you to say, and thank you for pointing out the typo. I’ve corrected it and re-uploaded the PDFs. Evelyn, Unfortunately it looks like “Weihnachten. Fantasie” is missing from the book. It should have been score #30, which would have been the back over. I’ll reach out to my Gr...

Christmas Music

Hey all, I’ve plugged a few more songs from my Great Grandfathers crumbling book of Christmas tunes into MuseScore, converted them from treble clef to bass clef and wanted to share them with you all. Attached are PDFs for “Alle Jahre wieder”, “Weihnachtsspruch” and “Der Christbaum”. I’ll post more i...
