Re: searching for sheet music

Actually, Carmen Amrein just sent me the sheet music to this piece. Enjoy! And if anyone can figure out the fingering for me, feel free to post it. I'm ever-so-slowly working on it.

Hi Joseph. You can contact me directly at kennethpauls@me.com. If you're in LA I'd be happy to meet up and chat on "zithering". I live near LAX airport.

searching for sheet music

Does anyone have the sheet music to this piece, Menuett aus Platt? It's such a pretty, straight-forward song; I'd like to learn it.

Oh that's good to hear, thank-you. I'd been trying the other way and getting very frustrated.

Kind of a shorthand/easy method. King Keyes (a most excellent teacher, rest in peace), briefly s...

Re: folding tables: correlation height v width

Here are some photos of a zither table my wife had constructed for me as a present. Dr. Sam Thomas at C.L.U. fabricated this in his spare time. It's made of walnut; the top folds down like a piano's to protect the instrument when not playing. Because the Perfekta is such a large instrument, the tabl...

Re: Schwarzer Perfekta harfenzither

Anne Prinz has written to me about the Perfekta: according to the model no.: " It was built in 1927 (only 46 instruments made that year) and originally sold to Edward Kugler. The company record refers to it as a “concert grand perfecta”. I can't seem to find a model number on the Ernst Rudolph ...
