neater hand-written scores

For those who arrange music for themselves or others, who want neater looking scores, and don't want/cannot invest in computer soft- and hardware, you may want to try the "Composer Template 2" from Long Beach Music, and sold through Amazon.

This plastic template for most musical notation comes with 50 sheets of blank score, for ~ $12.

Looks interesting, Rudi! Back when I did notation by hand, all I had was a straightedge... this would've come in quite handy.

These days I use MuseScore. While it does require that one have modest computing hardware, the software itself is completely free and runs on both Mac and Windows computers. I recommend it for those wanting to make the leap to software notation:
