There will be a Zither Sunday at the home of Kurt Eckroth in Wales, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Lunch will be at approximately 12:00 noon, with the sessions following. All interested players, students, and friends of the zither are welcome.

There was quite a celebration at the Zither Sunday of September 14. Kurt Eckroth presented Jeff Palinek with a brand new Sasha Radicic Zither! Jeff was of course flabergasted.
The quality of workmanship was astonishing. The tone and resonance of this creation had to be heard to believe. Its beauty and finish can only be approximated from the photos.
Jeff will be having solo performances at the Austrian Weinfest in Milwaukee in October, and in Monroe and New Glarus later this autumn.

Congratulations to everyone! Many years ago I lived only a few miles away, in Lake Mills Wisconsin. I lived in a zither heaven - but never knew it!
