Has anyone experimented with tablets for their sheet music? It certainly is appealing to have a large collection of music, easily accessible in a portable unit. For a modern touch though, the stand seems awkward.

Re: Sheet Music and Tablets
I've not yet made the jump into this, but Tomy Temerson has kindly provided his preferred setup for those who are considering options. Following is his reply:
I am using an Apple Ipad, 2nd Generation
The Software name I use is musicreader (http://www.musicreader.net/) (Have bought many softwares, this is definitely the best one!)
To change the pages of my sheet music I use the foot pedal Airturn BT-105 (http://airturn.com/bt-105-for-tablets/b ... -computers)

Tommy Temerson used a tablet for his performance at the Chicago 100th Anniversary program. It seemed like he was using a foot pedal to advance the pages.
