Bismarck Hotel Bierstube Songs

This circa 1930s song book comes from the Bismarck Hotel Bierstube in Chicago (the hotel closed in 1996 and reopened as Hotel Allegro after extensive renovations). Henri Kublick, seated with his zither, can be seen with his Bavarian Ensemble in one photo. As a Vaudeville performer, Kublick entertained audiences with instruments of his own invention. Later, he focused on designing large-model electronic zithers which he played at venues in Chicago, and in Florida in his retirement.
