A simple box was constructed of 1/2 inch (12 mm) pine boards for the edges, and 3/16 (5mm) inch plywood, glued and screwed together. This box was cut on a table saw to remove the top from the bottom of the case. Interior supports and partitions were then sawn from glued-up laminations of 3/4 inch (20 mm) pine. Latches and handle were from Amazon. Latches were also installed on the sides for extra security. This is a work in progress; final interior padding awaits installation.
