The Story of the Hummel

German luthier Wilfried Ulrich has made me aware that an English translation of his book, Die Hummel: Geschichte eines Volksmusik-Instruments (The Story of the Hummel), is now available. His work should prove informative for those interested in learning more about the modern zither's ancestors.
