It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday, December 1st, I cracked open my binder of Christmas zither music: some scored for Altzither & Concertzither. Great fun playing harmony parts and melody parts. Anyone else gotten out their holiday music?

Re: Zither Sunday November 17,2019

Rudi- I check in on the Forum periodically, BUT I always enjoy reading what's being served on Zither Sundays in Delafield, WI !!! I make for my dad quite often during the fall and winter Jaeger Schnitzel, Spaetzle and red cabbage and some green vegetable. I picked up a terrific spaetzle press from o...

John- If you are located in the US, you might make contact with Mr. Sasha Radicic of St Louis, MO. His is a very fine, and highly trained, maker of guitars and repair of Zithers. Sasha made repairs to two zithers that I own: one is an AltZither in the key of F that has been in my family for generati...

International Zither Event

Has anyone received a formal announcement about/invitation to an International Zither event taking place in Germany in March, 2019? I seem to recall reading a casual mention of this event somewhere on the forum about a month ago.

Re: Franz Schwarzer Zither

As a suggestion, you might contact Sasha Radicic who is an expert luthier for all things Zither and guitar. Sasha lives in St Louis, MO; he did a wonderful job of repair and refinishing a very old alto zither that has been in my family for nearly 100 years, and similarly on a handsome Schwarzer zith...

"Elegie" - an enjoyable Zither piece

Have a listen to this performer, complete with bandaid on his thumb. Isn't this a nifty piece?

Re: Zither lessons via Skype

Hello Carmen, I have been searching for the Zither Sheet music for "Isarwinkler Laendler". Seeing that you are playing German Folkmusic, I would like to know if you can tell me where I can purchase the notes for Zither I/Zither II; or Zither/Accordian/Guitar? Don Offinger USA eMail: DonOff...

Re: Two Zithers for sale

Pete- How much would you want for the three Im Heimat volumes with postage sent to the US? (I would like to get these, and checked the German website, Notenbuch.de for these.....the price per volume there is fair, but their shipping fee from Germany to the US is far more than the books). Let me know...
